Dohmen sponsors 19th annual HHS SBIR/STTR Conference: In the Heartland

The Dohmen team will join experts from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and hundreds of healthcare innovators at the 19th Annual HHS SBIR/STTR Conference, November 7-9, in Milwaukee, Wis.

As a sponsor, Dohmen will join critical conversations at the three-day event focused on the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs here in the U.S. These programs provide small business owners access to more than $920 million dollars of annual HHS funding, largely considered the largest seed fund for life science innovation in the country.

Education and networking sessions will help biomedical entrepreneurs, investors and industry partners understand how to earn SBIR/STTR funding, lead successful research projects and ultimately, launch products and services to improve healthcare.

In addition to sponsoring the conference, Dohmen Life Science Services Chief Performance Officer, Kathy Koshgarian, will participate in the “Dynamic Women Leaders” panel on Wednesday, November 8 from 7:00 to 8:00 am. Koshgarian will share her thoughts on career development, as well as the importance of creating, measuring and improving a performance-driven culture in the life science industry.
